About the position
• Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customer expectations and company goals. • Analyze sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock. • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and timelines. • Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products effectively. • Generate store layout plans and maintain store shelves and inventory. • Estimate profits/sales and plan budgets. • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clearances, etc. • Build constructive customer relationships and teamwork with channel partners to develop channels and close deals. • Observe industry best practices.place of work
